Create MagazineCreate! Magazine is pleased to announce the open call for Issue No. 58, In Full Color, juried by Liz Lidgett.
This is an international, juried open call open to artists worldwide working in any medium (except AI).
We invite you to respond to the concept of color in whatever way feels most true to your current practice.
Color as language. Color as structure, memory, or emotion.
Your interpretation is the work.
All subjects and mediums are welcome.
About the Theme
This is an open call. We are looking for your interpretation of color expressed through your art.
Whether your practice centers on painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, fiber, or any other medium, we want to see how color lives in your work right now and what it means to you.
That might mean a painting built around hue and saturation.
It might mean work where color carries cultural expression, or textile work where dye and fiber convey emotional weight.
There is no single right answer.
We are looking for work that is honest, committed, and current.
Please note that this call is open to all mediums with the exception of AI-generated work.
