FotofestiwalFotofestiwal – International Festival of Photography in Łódź, the largest and the oldest photography festival in Poland, is calling for projects within Fotofestiwal Open Call 2026.
The competition is open and does not impose any thematic, age or geographical limitations. The organizers are looking for artists with exceptional personalities and projects which present bold visions.
Six (6) winners will be selected by an international Jury and exhibited during Fotofestiwal 2026, in addition to the other available prizes.
If your project is selected as one of the six best, you will be offered:
Exhibition during Fotofestiwal (over 20,000 viewers) for 6 artists
Artist’s fee – 1,000 Euro
Accommodation for the main opening weekend of the festival
Reimbursement of travel costs up to 300 Euro
Exhibition production or transportation budget – 500 Euro
Fotofestiwal 2026 will be held in Łódź, Poland in June.
About Fotofestiwal
Fotofestiwal was established in 2001 as one of the first photographic events in Poland. Since then it has become one of the most important and largest photography festivals in Central Europe, but its basic mission has not changed.
The organizers present different faces of photography, talk through photography about important social and artistic issues, introduce the audience to the unobvious beauty and unique history of Łódź. They organize exhibitions in post-industrial spaces, emphasize networking events, and strive to develop new ways of talking about photography.
