ExhibitionIn a world shaped by paths taken and boundaries reimagined, Crossings invites artists and photographers to explore the visible and invisible lines we traverse – across land, identity, and time.
From personal journeys to collective memories, from physical landscapes to emotional geographies, this theme welcomes projects that speak to transformation, migration, transmission, and presence. Inspired by the symbolic spirit of the Green March, but open to all interpretations, Crossings becomes a space to reflect on what it means to move, to claim, to belong – or to search.
Whether through documentary work, staged narratives, experimental forms or archival research, we welcome diverse approaches that question, celebrate, or challenge the spaces we cross and the stories we carry.
What winners receive 10 Winners:
Each winner will participate with 5 photographs of their choice in the printed exhibition titled The Language of Pictures, presented as part of the Festival OFF d'Arles at CIQ de la Roquette, Place Paul Doumer, Arles, from July 4 to 13, 2025.
They will also have the opportunity to present a short video, up to 5 minutes in length, introducing their photographic series during the upcoming edition of the Rencontres de la Photographie de Marrakech, which will be exceptionally held this year in Dakhla, from November 6 to 9, 2025, at the Palais des Congrès.
Each winner will receive the full publication of their photographic series and an exclusive interview on the festival's official platform at https://www.rencontres-photos.com.
The 10 winners will also compete for the Public Choice Award during the festival in Dakhla. The recipient of this award will be invited to join the jury of a future open call of the Rencontres de la Photographie de Marrakech.
20 Finalists:
Each finalist will have the chance to present their photographic series through a short video, with a maximum duration of 3 minutes, during the Rencontres de la Photographie de Marrakech in Dakhla, taking place from November 6 to 9, 2025.
Finalists will also have their complete series published on the festival's website.
