ExhibitionThis semiannual award is an opportunity for women photographers to display their work. Selected entries will be exhibited at FotoNostrum, the Mediterranean House of Photography, in 2025 (date to be determined), following the competition rules available at Julia Cameron Award Rules.
Total prizes in this edition: $29,400. The awards include a fully paid exhibition of up to 20 artworks for each of the overall winners in FotoNostrum in July 2025, together with the winners of the 23rd JMCA (value of the four exhibitions: $22,400). Among all four winners, one will be selected to be published in a book curated, designed, and printed in a hardcover edition of 100 copies by FotoNostrum Publishing, shipped to the artist (value: $7,000).
The jurors will also select winners and honorable mentions in all categories. All selected photographers will be invited to exhibit in a collective exhibition in a space adjacent to the exhibition of the four overall winners. In the collective exhibition, the exhibition organization and venue costs will be covered by The Worldwide Photography Gala Awards. However, exhibitors will be charged approximately $280 per piece for printing, framing, setup costs (hanging, labeling, and insurance). By participating in this award, artists acknowledge that they will be charged for printing if participating in the exhibition and must submit high-resolution files of 300 dpi suitable for fine art printing.
Images of all awardees (winners and honorable mentions) will be showcased in a special complimentary issue of FotoNostrum Magazine.
