photo l.a.For 30 years, photo l.a. has celebrated and brought together the photography and arts community from around the world. It is with this mission that we present
FOCUS photo l.a., a photography competition in tandem with our new in-person portfolio reviews. We seek to provide emerging and mid-career artists/photographers opportunities to broaden their career prospects and promote their work on a platform within the photo l.a. network.
What is FOCUS photo l.a.?
FOCUS photo l.a. is open to artists/photographers working in all themes, types, and genres of photography. No original prints will be exhibited. Finalists are determined by a panel of renowned fine art photography experts.
FOCUS photo l.a. Top 20 Finalists will have their selected work presented at photo l.a. during FOCUS photo l.a. finalists' exhibition
Top 20 Finalists will have their winning photograph professionally printed by our partner The Icon and expertly framed for live exhibition in Santa Monica, CA
Select finalists will be invited to present their projects at a live artist talk program with our partner Open Show LA
NOW IN 2024 ~ One (1) Winner will be selected from the Top 20 Finalists by the jury to receive a $1000 cash award!
