Arte Laguna PrizeArte Laguna Prize opens a new call for artists, photographers and designers from all around the world. The call is open to all artists, without restrictions of age, gender, nationality and artistic background, and the theme is free. The techniques admitted are: painting, sculpture and installation, photographic art, video art and short films, performances and acting (both on stage and video), digital art, digital graphics and cartoons, environmental and land art, urban art and street art, art design.
In the jury, as for each edition, important names of the current artistic scene will select the 110 finalists who will compete for the prize of 10,000 euros and will have the opportunity to exhibit in the beautiful 3,000 square meters of the Arsenale Nord in Venice from November 16 to December 8, 2024.
In addition, participants will have the opportunity to access the prizes created in collaboration with international partners:
- 11 Art Residences
- 1 Business for Art
- 1 Exhibition in galleries
- 1 Participation in festivals and group exhibitions
- 2 Sustainability and Art
INSTITUTIONAL PRIZES
1 cash prize of 10.000 €*
*By law, on all the money prizes a withholding of 25% will be required.
Free publication on the web portal artelaguna.world
Each artist has free online visibility on the international portal Arte Laguna World, digital platform for the promotion, enhancement and sale of contemporary art works.
FINALISTS’ EXHIBITION
The finalist artists selected by the international jury will participate in the important group exhibition, together with the finalist artists of the 18th edition, to be held in Venice, North Arsenal from November 16 to December 8, 2024.
All submitted works remain the property of the artists. Any artist may propose to donate his or her work to MoCA, which may accept the donation, committing to display it, after Venice, in art centers, palaces and public places, for the purpose of the artist’s continued promotion and sale.
The setting up and organization of the exhibition will be the responsibility of Arte Laguna srl and the MoCA Cultural Association. Transportation and shipping costs (round-trip), materials necessary for the installation of the finalist work (including any digital media) and any insurance of the works are the responsibility of the individual artists.
