The Street Photography Barcelona Contest (SPBC) was created with the aim of giving international visibility to professional and amateur photographers who work in street photography with honesty and creativity.
The festival offers a physical exhibition in Barcelona and screenings in Ibiza, spaces where their works can be seen, appreciated, recognized, and even acquired.
What winners receive
Six days of exhibition in Barcelona at the Art Nomade Gallery for the 25 finalists.
Screening of the 25 finalists in Ibiza in collaboration with Ibizacinefest (Ibiza International Independent Film Festival).
Ibizacinefest will cover the European flight, and the overall winner's hotel will present the session in Ibiza.
€500 for the overall winner.
€250 for two special mentions.
€1,500 in prizes total.
About Street Photography Barcelona Contest
The Street Photography Barcelona Contest (SPBC) was founded with the mission of offering international exposure to photographers, both professional and amateur, who explore street photography with authenticity, creativity, honesty, and passion.
The festival provides a physical and virtual exhibition space where works can be viewed, appreciated, recognized, and even purchased by a professional and global audience.
SPBC shares part of its organizing team with Ibizacinefest, directed by Xavi Herrero, passionate about street and travel photography, and the driving force behind this new event in Barcelona.
Ibizacinefest, recognized as one of the most relevant emerging film festivals in Spain, is an official qualifier for the Goya, Forqué, and Fugaz Awards, in addition to collaborating with the European Film Academy.
With a history of 10 editions and the support of up to seven cultural departments from different public administrations, it constitutes a solid guarantee of professionalism and seriousness.
That same commitment is transferred to Street Photography Barcelona, ensuring that your photographs will be in the hands of an honest cultural project with an international vocation.
