Roma FotografiaHumanity is in constant motion on planet Earth and, at every moment, this immense organism of lives composes and uncovers images as in an immense kaleidoscope.
Rome Photography invites professional photographers* and photoamateurs* and citizens* from every nation to narrate this continuous flow through the 17 themes that are part of the United Nations 2030 Agenda goals:
Peace and Justice – Overcoming Poverty – Overcoming Hunger Health and well-being – Education – Gender equality Water – Clean energy – Decent work Innovation – Reducing inequalities – Sustainable cities Responsible consumption and production – Climate change Life under water – Life on earth – Partnership for the goals Photographic images have the power to draw attention and at the same time put the search for a solution at the centre.
Participating in the VISIONS FROM THE PLANET EARTH photo call is therefore not just an artistic challenge, but offers the chance to witness events and be an active part of change.
Every photograph has a story to tell that can make the invisible visible and inspire other people to reflect and act, adopting ethical, civil and sustainable behaviour that can contribute to the improvement of a life as well as an entire community.
Multiplying visions with photographs from every place in the world, that is the goal to enhance this possibility.
Tell us what happens from your point of view on the streets of a megalopolis, on the sands of a desert, in the depths of the sea, in the silent faces that tell, in new and old professions, in a community that resists, in the gaze of those who seem to be no longer able to cope, in the power of solidarity, in nature that rebels but knows how to regenerate itself without ceasing.
The categories of participation are:
SHORT STORY: The work presented must be a project consisting of a minimum of 4 maximum 8 photographs. The participant can also send more than one project.
SINGLE SHOT: The participant can send one or more single images (even at different times).
Each author can also participate with multiple projects or single photographs in both categories.
The winners and selected entries of the Photographic Call will be exhibited within the 6 2.5 m2 LED videos of the ‘MUSEUM CIRCUIT’ during the second edition of ‘Roma Fotografia Future’ in Rome this autumn.

Art is born out of passion. Fine Art photography is a perfect instrument, which allows a person to communicate with the world and share their vision. It results from the author's deep sensitivity, a need to express feelings through image.
